Vision Statement

Preach Sista! exists to cultivate sacred spaces where women—and all who gather with us—can deepen their faith, care for their souls, and boldly live into their God-given call.

Through community, conversation, and spiritual formation, we affirm voices, nurture healing, and encourage one another to walk faithfully, love deeply, and lead with courage. We believe that every story matters, every voice has purpose, and every soul deserves space to be restored.

Preach Sista! is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) ministry focused on empowering, encouraging, and equipping people as they grow in their faith and care for their souls since 2000! Guided by its three commitments -- Igniting Faith, Nourishing Souls, and Building Communities -- we host gatherings and curate programing which encourage individual and community flourishing.

Igniting Faith: 2 Timothy 1:6 NIV

For this reason I remind you to fan into flames the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

We define "igniting" as an arousal of passion or to excite. We define "Faith" as a strong belief in God and the assurance of things hoped for. Preach Sista! is committed to (re)igniting faith in those who seek a deeper relationship with God.

Programing designed to ignite faith include, but are not limited to:

Nourishing Souls: Jeremiah 31:25 ESV

For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish

We define "nourishing" as encouragement and providing spiritual support. We define the "soul" as the mind or one's self. Preach Sista! is committed to creating programing that nourishes weary souls to a state of flourishing.

Programing to nourish the soul include, but are not limited to:

Building Community: Ephesians 4:12 NIV

To equip God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.

We define "building" as the process of making something stronger and to construct by bringing different parts together. We define "community" as a feeling of connection to others. Preach Sista! is committed to creating programing that builds community among people across differences and supports the flourishing of other ministries.

Programming to build community include, but are not limited to:

  • She Leads Collective (Coming in 2027)

  • The Antioch Podcast: Conversations on Biblical Antiracism

  • Investing time and money in support of other ministries

Seeking a Third Way

Preach Sista! is a diverse community with varied backgrounds, cultures, theologies and denominations, drawn together through our love of Christ and our belief that every person is a beloved child of God.

As an organization, we refuse to be labeled as “left-leaning” or “right-leaning” or “liberal” or “conservative”. Rather, we are intentionally seeking a third way. A way that is less judgmental. A way that is informed by Matthew 22:39, Philippians 4:8, Philippians 2:3; and1 John 4:20.

By gathering together, embracing our differences, and celebrating our shared trust in God’s love in Christ, we seek to: love our neighbor as ourselves, practice radical hospitality, and create spaces promoting restoration for all who are weary, wounded, and wandering.

We understand that embracing differences can be challenging — especially in charged political climates. However, when relationships are healthy, differences can be discussed with honesty and respect, without conveying judgment. Rather than allowing disagreements to create division, the relationships we cultivate by coming together across differences are grounded in what is shared and held in common. By doing so, the focus shifts from the differences that separate us to the values, commitments, and connections that unite us.

We do not ignore our differences. We celebrate them. We do not ignore contested social issues. We raise awareness of disproportional impact. We do not drive any one away from the church. We gather all who are willing to come.
