“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
With more than twenty+ years of being a ministry, it almost inevitable that some of our most faithful volunteers and advisory board members would gain their wings and leave us too soon.
Preach Sista! would not be what it is today without the loving support and invaluable contributions from Mallie, Brain, Ruthie, Dorthea, Coco, and Rosemary. While we miss their presence, we rejoice in the thought of one day worshiping with them again.
Darrell Paige
On January 31, 2026, Michelle’s beloved husband of forty-one years — Darrell Paige — went home to be with his Lord after a nineteen month battle with cancer. Michelle was always quick to tell people that Darrell was Preach Sista’s biggest supporter. When her first conference ended with a big financial loss, he covered the gap and encouraged her to make plans for the second. She was ready to quit, but God spoke to her by speaking through him to keep going. Keep trusting the assignment. Darrell often accompanied Michelle on shopping trips to Chicago for conference purses and jewelry. He made sure that when Michelle returned home after hosting a Fresh Anointing Conference all she had to do was rest. While many people from the conference may not have met him, they did enjoyed the scratch-made German Chocolate cakes he made for the silent auction. He is and will be forever missed.
