WOW: Women of the Word Bible Study

1st & 3rd Fridays 7:00pm - 8:00pm Eastern

Did you know that there are over 130 distinct personal names of women in the Bible in addition to a number of unnamed women. I’ve always wanted to know more about them. But, I didn’t want to just study on my own. So … here we are! Preach Sista’s Women of the Word Bible Study. Currently, we meet twice a month (virtually) to work through Women of the Bible: A One-Year Devotional Study of Women in Scripture by Ann Spangler and Jean E. Syswerda. You don’t need to purchase the book, but if you would like to, you are more than welcome to do so and to follow along or read ahead. On the first and third Friday of every month at 7:00 pm login to our ZOOM meeting to pray, read, share, and learn within a welcoming community. Together, we will seek to learn from the stories of women in the Bible. As we come together to study women in the Word, we will become Women of the Word (WOW)! I’m excited about this study and hope that you’ll join us!

Want more time in the Word? We got you covered! Each month we offer one or more opportunities to read an online devotional with others. The devotional reading group is offered by PreachSista! and the devotionals are offered by YouVersion. We offer something new every month and on a variety of topics. Some devotionals are only for a few days and others may last the whole month.
